Description

Nurse Manager Institute (NMI) is a three-day interactive program that combines lecture, discussion, experiential learning and self-assessment. Using simulation, case study and introduction of leadership concepts attendees are able to explore their leadership potential, understand the basics of budgeting, conflict management, circle concepts, quality and patient safety, and their role in the future of nursing.

Travel

A discounted nightly has been arranged at the Coopers Inn. A one night’s deposit will be due at the time of booking. A special link to reserve the discounted rate will be provided in your confirmation email. A shuttle will be provided from Coopers Inn to the Otesaga Resort.

AONL cannot be held liable for non-refundable airline tickets or hotel room deposits. AONL suggests that you do not purchase restricted or nonrefundable tickets for travel to the annual meeting. AONL assumes no liability for penalties or fare increases should the annual meeting sell out or in the unlikely event that changes to the annual meeting dates and/or location become necessary. Hotel reservations, cancellations and charges are the attendee’s responsibility. 

Continuing Education Contact Hours & Accreditation Statement

The program offers attendees the opportunity to earn up to 17.5 continuing education credits.

The American Organization for Nursing Leadership is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

AONL is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15740.

Cancellation

A refund minus 20% will be granted to written requests received 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Shanna Sweeney at ssweeney@aha.org. We regret will not be able to grant refunds after this date.

Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member of AONL and original registrant is a member, the nonmember differential must be paid.
