What do you think is the most important takeaway from the review course that helps participants feel prepared for the exam?
The review course provides a comprehensive review of the necessary competencies needed to pass the test. The facilitated sessions provide a well-rounded learning environment that incorporates group discussions, application case studies and allows the participants the ability to see what areas they may need to focus on prior to the test. The ability to have this "group think" is very helpful.

What motivated you to pursue CENP certification?
As an Executive Nursing leader, I recognize the importance of lifelong learning and being a role model by demonstrating my commitment to excellence. It is important to me to be a positive role model for my nursing leadership team.

How has becoming certified added value in your professional and/or personal life?
I truly believe Nursing Executives must be very well-rounded leaders who possess a complex range of leadership competencies so that we can influence and shape the care we provide our communities. Obtaining my CENP has personally validated my commitment to that statement.
