AONL’s revised Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML®) and Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP®) exams will be released this November. To introduce the revised exams, we will offer a 50% discount to anyone who takes the CNML exam November 1 – December 31, 2023 or the CENP exam November 15 – December 31, 2023. Please use CNML50 or CENP50 in the discount field at time of purchase.
The passing score will be set after a statistical analysis of the revised exam’s performance against the recommendations of the Standard Setting Committee. During the statistical analysis period, test takers will not receive their exam results onsite at the testing center. A score report will be sent 8-12 weeks after exam completion. You will know the passing score when you receive your score report.

CNML Essentials Review CourseThe review course will cover case studies, simulation learning and a discounted practice test. Participants of the review course can earn a maximum of 7.0 contact hours when they successfully complete the course.
Nurse Manager CompetenciesAs you determine your readiness to take the Certified Nurse Manager and Leader exam, begin by utilizing the AONL Nurse Leader Competency Assessment. The competencies provide you with a summary of the skills needed to perform the nurse managers job. The assessment gives an indication of your readiness to take the exam based on your experience.
