AONL National Nurses Week, May 6-12

Theme: Care, Lead, Inspire — Repeat.

Nurses are the heart of health care — steadfast in compassion, courage and commitment. This Nurses Week, AONL celebrates the enduring rhythm of nursing leadership with our 2025 theme: Care, Lead, Inspire — Repeat. It’s a cycle that defines the profession. Nurses care deeply for patients, teams and communities. They lead with integrity and vision, often in the most complex and challenging environments. They inspire others through action, advocacy and unwavering dedication. And they do it all again every shift, every day.

Join us May 6-12 as we honor nurse leaders who keep this cycle in motion. Through stories, spotlights and special programming, we’ll celebrate the impact of those who lead with purpose and inspire change — again and again.
