Results include a 6% increase in admissions, 34% reduction in GMLOS variance, 25% reduction in opportunity days, 40% reduction in discharge processing time, 35% reduction in ED boarding and 74% reduction in diversion. Greg Brown, Associate System VP of Patient Command Center/ Healthline, Baptist Health Arkansas

Greg Brown is the Associate System Vice President at Baptist Health Arkansas, overseeing patient access and system throughput initiatives. With over 32 years at Baptist, he has held roles from Flight Paramedic to Professional Development before stepping into system leadership.

Previously, he spent 10 years at the Arkansas Department of Health, serving as Director of multiple statewide programs, including Trauma, Stroke, STEMI Systems of Care and Emergency Medical Services. He also led the state's COVID-19 response as Incident Commander and helped establish Arkansas’ regionalized stroke and trauma care system.

A strategic and results-driven leader, Brown excels in operational efficiency, team building and crisis management. He is committed to continuous improvement, innovative problem-solving and delivering high-quality patient care.
