FAONL Spotlight: Linda Knodel
Linda Knodel, MHA, MSN, CPHQ, NE-BC, LFACHE, FAONL, FAAN, is a visionary leader with deep expertise in strategic design, innovation, and the integration of care delivery models across a wide range of healthcare settings and systems.
Linda has board experience at the national, regional, state, and local levels including ACHE and served as AONL President. She is also active on schools of nursing advisory boards. As the Chief Nursing Executive at Kaiser Permanente she had accountability for the practice of nursing for 64,000 nurses. Prior to joining Kaiser, Linda was the System CNO at Mercy, Chesterfield MO and the CNO for CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND.
She is board-certified in Nursing Administration, a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and a Fellow in the American Organization of Nursing Leadership. Linda has won multiple industry leadership awards including ACHE’s Gold Medal Award, is a published author and speaker at industry events and conferences.
