Meet the Inaugural AONL Catalyst Scholars

AONL is proud to introduce the inaugural cohort of AONL Catalyst Scholars.

The AONL Leadership Catalyst Scholars Program is a competitive national practicum opportunity that connects graduate nursing students in leadership-focused programs with real-world, high-impact AONL work. Through structured, project-based engagement, scholars contribute directly to AONL strategic initiatives while developing applied experience in systems thinking, workforce strategy, financial stewardship, evidence translation, innovation and leadership execution. The experience integrates academic preparation with national leadership work while supporting practicum requirements within scholars’ graduate programs.

The inaugural cohort includes seven scholars representing a range of practice settings, leadership roles and professional interests, including perioperative and acute care leadership, public health, workforce development and advanced practice. Across the cohort, the scholars share a commitment to strengthening nursing leadership, improving care delivery, supporting the nursing workforce and translating evidence into better outcomes for patients, teams and organizations.
