ACA premiums to increase by 13% in 2027

Affordable Care Act premiums will increase by 13% with fewer coverage options, according to a KFF analysis of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data. People who sign up for the insurance exchange can expect expiring financial assistance, rising rates, potential delays in working with a broker and stricter enrollment checks. Financial assistance, including premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions, is restricted for many people who previously were eligible..
