AHA, AHRQ highlight patient safety tools during National Hospital Week

New resources are available from the American Hospital Association and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to commemorate National Hospital Week, May 11-17. An AHA video shows the many people who make up hospitals and health systems and how they stand ready for care. The AHA and its professional membership groups have provided resources, including stories from the field, customizable graphics, and an AHA Member Advisory. AHRQ highlighted how its tools and resources can support a hospital’s patient safety culture, including ways to strengthen communication, teamwork and staffing.
