AHA, AONL celebrate nurses, coworkers through music, gratitude

In honor of National Hospital Week, on May 9 the American Hospital Association (AHA) released an original song and video, inspired by the sacrifices of health care workers, including nurses, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The release coincided with National Nurses Week. “During this week of celebration, we would be remiss if we did not call out your extraordinary dedication and leadership in these unprecedented times,” Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, AONL CEO and AHA chief nursing officer and senior vice president of workforce, and AONL President Mary Ann Fuchs, DNP, RN, vice president of patient care services and system chief nurse executive at Duke University Health System, Durham, N.C. wrote to the membership in a Nurses Week email.
