AHA resource describes sepsis reduction at Ochsner Health

The American Hospital Association releasedresource showing how Ochsner Health is reducing sepsis. The New Orleans-based health system has successfully aligned its efforts to reduce sepsis with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Hospital Sepsis Program Core Elements, consisting of seven strategies designed to enhance early detection and treatment. The resource highlights Ochsner’s best practices, including systemwide coordination, leadership engagement and team-based practices leading to improved outcomes in sepsis management.
