AHA resource seeks to improve care for people with disabilities

The American Hospital Association released a resource outlining how hospitals can improve care for people with disabilities. Solutions were co-designed by hospital leaders, clinicians and disability advocates during a national convening by the AHA, which has expanded its work on reducing disparities in health outcomes to include people with disabilities. One in four Americans live with a disability, many of whom face barriers to care.
