AHA seeks rural hospital, CAH applicants for opioid-use disorder collaborative

The American Hospital Association seeks applicants from rural and critical access hospitals to participate in the third year of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-funded learning collaborative to improve care transitions for people with opioid use disorder and/or stimulant use disorder. The AHA will select nine teams to participate in a six-month virtual collaborative designed to strengthen care transitions between inpatient, primary care and pharmacy settings, implement evidence-based practices from the AHA’s Bridge-to-Care Toolkit, and share lessons learned with peers nationwide in a rural-focused supplement to the Bridge-to-Care toolkit. Participating organizations may request up to $20,000 to support staff time and project activities. Applicants can contact aonl@aha.org for a copy of the request for proposal.
