AONL to host webinar on making the business case for nursing

AONL will host a webinar highlighting how nurse leaders can make a business case for nursing to their CEOs and chief financial officers on Aug. 25 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm CT. The event, open to members and non-members, will describe how leaders can use the AONL Nurse Manager Span of Accountability Index and AONL Return on Investment Calculator to assess leadership workload, evaluate investment opportunities and determine the return on investment to bolster nursing’s value in business terms. These tools enable nurse leaders to connect workforce decisions, operational realities and financial outcomes. Participants will learn how AONL developed the tools, what each tool measures and how nurse leaders can use them to support resource planning, executive dialogue and strategic workforce decisions.
