Applications open for Carolyn Boone Lewis Award for Improving Health Outcomes

The American Hospital Association encourages member hospitals and health systems to apply for the Carolyn Boone Lewis Award for Improving Health Outcomes. The award recognizes hospital and health system excellence in applying data-informed strategies to improve health outcomes for all. Winning organizations will share quantifiable impact across the hospital, health system and communities served, with a clear connection to improved health outcomes. The AHA will recognize one winner and two finalists, who will receive their award at the AHA Leadership Summit 2027 in San Diego. Applications open Sept. 4 and are due Dec. 4 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
