Begley Named AONL Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient

AONL named Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, as its 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. The award honors an AONL member recognized by the nursing community as a significant leader in the nursing profession who has served AONL in an important leadership capacity. Begley retired in December 2024 as AONL CEO and American Hospital Association CNO and senior vice president of workforce. She currently serves on the board for AtlantiCare Health System in Atlantic City, N.J., and is an inaugural member of Georgetown University’s Nurse Executives in Residence program. Before leading AONL, Begley was AtlantiCare vice president of nursing and CNO, where she guided AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to achieve Magnet designation four times. AONL will honor Begley March 30 at the AONL annual conference in Chicago. (AONL news release, 12/18/25)
