Bipartisan resolution honors Army Nurse Corp

A bicameral, bipartisan resolution honors and celebrates the 125th anniversary of the United States Nursing Corps. Introduced by Reps. Dave Joyce, R-Ohio, and Suzanne Bonamici, D-Ore., and Sen. Armed Services Committee Chairman Roger Wicker, R-Miss., and Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., the AONL-supported resolution commemorates the anniversary of the Army Nurse Corps creation in 1901. The Corps has served in every major conflict from World War I to the War on Terror.
