CDC adds resources to measles toolkit

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention added resources for health care providers to its Be Ready for Measles Toolkit. Resources include a decision tree to help providers determine when to give measles, mumps and rubella vaccinations to adults; checklists for summer camps; and immunity records templates. The CDC has reported 1,227 confirmed measles cases across 37 states as of June 24. The figure is more than four times higher than the 285 cases reported in 2024. Among the nationally confirmed cases, the CDC said 95% are among people who are unvaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown.
