CEOs Sought for Survey on Nurse Manager Recognition

The AONL Foundation for Nursing Leadership Research and Education seeks hospital and health system CEOs to survey about how they prioritize nurse manager recognition in their organizations. Specifically, the study aims to learn how CEOs prioritize nurse manager recognition in daily operations with their teams, as well as with their board of directors. The research, funded by the DAISY Foundation, symplr, and Careismatic, supports the Beyond Gratitude initiative, which strives to support nurse managers’ emotional health and well-being, which includes recognizing their roles. M. Lindell Joseph, PhD, RN, clinical professor at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, is the study’s principal investigator. The AONL Foundation encourages CNOs to share the survey with their CEOs.
