Environmental Health Nurse Fellowship applications open

The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments seeks applicants for the fifth cohort of its Environmental Health Nurse Fellowships. The one-year program trains nurses to work with their communities to tackle serious environmental health issues, with an emphasis on climate and health equity. Fellows partner with community-based organizations to enhance mitigation of and adaptation to climate change and related environmental health challenges, while ensuring the subsequent health benefits are realized in the communities served. Fellows receive mentorship and skill-building opportunities so they can take on increasing leadership roles in their communities. Applications are due Sept. 4, with finalists notified Oct. 16. The program begins in January 2027. More information is available on the ANHE website.
