Kerfoot grant recipients announced

The DAISY Foundation announced three recipients of the inaugural Karlene Kerfoot Nursing Leadership in Technology Education grants. Sponsored by the AONL Foundation for Nursing Leadership Research and Education, the DAISY Foundation and symplr, the grant is awarded to AONL members who demonstrate a strong background in successfully implementing technology or innovation strategies and who articulate a clear vision for the future impact of their work on patient care. The 2025 recipients are Monique Bouvier, PhD, RN, corporate director for nursing science at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta; Colleen Desai, MBA, RN, senior director of nursing operations and transformation lead at Hartford HealthCare in Connecticut; and Mary Jo Garcia-Dia, DNP, RN, program director, nursing informatics at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. The grant honors the memory of AONL member Karlene Kerfoot, PhD, RN, who served as CNO at Symplr.
