NAM to host webinar on building trust in science

The National Academy of Medicine will host a webinar to build trust in science on Sept. 17 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. ET. The webinar is part of NAM’s Building Trust in Health Science Collaborative, an initiative supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to bring together community members, researchers and institutions to strengthen public confidence in health science. The webinar’s goals are to formally announce the collaborative, its background, purpose and initial structure; define health science, as it relates to the collaborative and building trust; present its mission, vision and framework; host interactive breakouts for questions and discussions about trust; and invite public feedback on collaborative objectives and approaches. Participants should register in advance.
