National Council of State Boards of Nursing releases environmental scan

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing published its 2026 Environmental Scan. Available in the Journal of Nursing Regulation, the scan provides a comprehensive overview of the health care landscape with a specific focus on nursing and regulation. In addition to nursing regulators, the NCSBN says the scan will help educators, employers, researchers and policymakers to plan strategically. (NCSBN news release, 1/26/26)
