Nurse Innovation Fellowship applications open

Johnson & Johnson has opened applications for the 2026-2027 Nurse Innovation Fellowship Program. The one-year, team-based nursing fellowship is for CNOs, nurse executives and senior nurse leaders in U.S. hospital settings who want to implement nurse-led innovation and leadership to drive transformative health care change. The program immerses two nurse leaders from the same organization and focuses on human-centered design and design thinking methodologies to solve a health challenge. Penn Nursing and the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia provide the curriculum, with emphasis on business acumen, change management and strategic leadership skills development. Applications are due by Feb. 10; 15 organizations will participate in the program, which will run from April 2026 to May 2027. Johnson & Johnson will hold five information sessions starting Jan. 14.
