Nurse Leader seeks manuscripts on academic-practice collaboration

Nurse Leader seeks manuscripts on measurable outcomes in academic-practice partnerships for a February 2028 themed issue. The journal is partnering with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing-AONL Academic-Practice Advisory Committee, which released a playbook in December 2025 for building successful academic-practice partnerships. Committee Co-Chairs Angela Clark, PhD, RN, Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing president, and Susan Grant, DNP, RN, system CNE at Emory Healthcare, will serve as guest editors. Manuscripts should demonstrate measurable impact from academic-practice partnerships and show changes resulting from the collaboration. Manuscripts also should articulate the return on investment, align with the playbook, and include co-authors from academic and practice settings. Prospective authors should submit abstracts to Clark and Grant by Jan. 15, 2027 for consideration.
