SAVE Campaign seeks to preserve nursing science

The Science Adds Value for Everyone Campaign seeks to demonstrate nursing science’s value and impact to policymakers and the public. An initiative of the American Academy of Nursing, the SAVE Campaign communicates why nursing science is crucial to improving health for patients and communities and how cuts to federal research agencies supporting nursing science will have “devastating consequences.” The campaign will collect and promote testimonials from nurse scientists about their research outcomes, forge and strengthen partnerships with the scientific and patient advocacy community. The campaign also will host events to educate policymakers, scientists and the public about nursing science’s  value, including how it improves quality, reduces costs and enhances public health.
