Toolkit enables CNOs to grow their own clinical nurse specialists

A toolkit provides CNOs with comprehensive resources to develop clinical nurse specialist programs internally. Developed by the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, the toolkit includes information about considerations for developing an inhouse program, including business proposals for positions and programs, job descriptions and sample orientation plans. Organizations can use the toolkit to identify promising internal candidates and provide key decision-makers with compelling information about investing in internal development.
