Williams discusses her leadership journey in JONA

In the Journal of Nursing Administration’s January issue, AONL President Ena Williams, PhD, RN, discussed the beginning of her leadership journey and significant learning experiences. Williams, senior vice president and CNE at Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut, believes effective leadership depends on compassion, respect and a commitment to valuing others. Leaders must articulate a clear and compelling vision, possess strong business acumen and drive measurable outcomes, she said.
