Zangerle named in most influential clinical execs list

Modern Healthcare named AONL CEO Claire Zangerle, DNP, RN, in its 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives, an annual list of individuals who use their medical expertise to shape their organizations’ strategies and drive transformation throughout health care. Zangerle, who also serves as senior vice president and chief nurse executive of the American Hospital Association, is “a major advocate for nurses, working to drive high-quality nursing leadership.” Modern Healthcare notes her responsibilities include ensuring public policy discussions incorporate nurse perspectives and leading the AONL Foundation for Nursing Leadership Research and Education.
