CDC posts recording of webinar updating clinicians on Ebola

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention hosted a recorded webinar for clinicians on the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. Participants learned about preparing for, diagnosing and managing patients with suspected or confirmed Ebola disease, as well as how to prevent the virus from spreading. The CDC says the overall risk to the American public and travelers remains low. The World Health Organization’s latest reported numbers are 321 confirmed cases in the DRC and 116 suspected cases, with 48 deaths. The number of suspected cases dropped from more than 1,000 reported last week as suspected cases were ruled out. (CDC webinar recording, 5/28/26)
