Early-Tenure Nurse Retention: Trends & Leader Strategies

During this webinar, AONL and Laudio will share findings from the recent report, “Early-Tenure Nurse Retention: Trends & Leader Strategies,” which combines insights from the Laudio Insights dataset – including 5,000 nurse managers leading over 75,000 nurses – with the direct voices of nurse managers in AONL interviews.

Hear what the data revealed about the role of manager span of control, new hire check-ins (plus the importance of who conducts them), and more from the report’s authors. Plus, gain practical strategies to enhance your retention efforts based on both the findings and our live discussion with a chief nursing executive and nurse manager.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understand trends in early-tenure nurse retention and what the data reveals about the role of manager span of control and new hire check-ins in particular.
  2. Identify concrete, multi-faceted strategies to boost early-tenure nurse retention with a focus on supporting nurse managers and promoting consistency with leader best practices.
