AONL Announces New 2027 Board Directors

CHICAGO – Aug. 25, 2026

CHICAGO – The American Organization for Nursing Leadership membership elected to the AONL Board of Directors, serving three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2027, are the following:

  • Puneet Freibott, DNP, RN, system chief nurse, Beth Israel Lahey Health in Cambridge, Mass.;
  • Chantal Howard, DNP, RN, chief nursing and patient care services officer, Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.; 
  • Brenda Oehler, MSN, RN, director of emergency services and nursing operations, UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and
  • Trish Baise, DNP, RN, chief nursing executive, ECU Health in Greenville, North Carolina.
