Communication That Builds Relationships: Clarity, Compassion, and Consistency
Communication is one of the most visible ways people experience leadership. The words leaders choose, the tone they use, the timing of their message and the consistency of their actions all shape trust, connection and confidence.
In Healthcare environments where delays, stress and uncertainty are common, clear and compassionate communication can help reduce anxiety, strengthen relationships and support psychological safety. This microlearning explores how nurse leaders can communicate with greater intention during everyday conversations with patients, families and team members.
By building these skills, you’ll be better prepared to foster trust, strengthen relationships and create more positive patient and team experiences through clear, compassionate and consistent communication.
