Not every leadership challenge requires the same response. Some situations are clear and predictable, while others require expertise, adaptation or immediate action.
This microlearning helps nurse leaders distinguish between simple, complicated, complex and chaotic systems. You’ll explore how each system type behaves, what makes them different and why recognizing the system you are operating in matters for effective leadership.
By building this awareness, you’ll be better prepared to assess situations more accurately, avoid applying the wrong solution to the wrong problem and choose leadership responses that fit the reality of the moment.
