Fix This Place! A Nurse Leader’s Guide to Facility Assessment
Health care environments directly shape safety, workflow and the overall experience of patients and staff. In this microlearning, you’ll explore a structured approach to assessing physical spaces within your organization through both operational and psychosocial lenses.
You’ll learn how design elements influence care delivery, staff efficiency and the human experience of health care. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to identify at least two operational and two psychosocial design considerations that can be evaluated through an objective facility assessment.
NCPD Credit:
Upon completion of the microlearning and evaluation, learners are eligible to earn 0.2 Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) credits. AONL is accredited as a provider of NCPD by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
