The Power of Storytelling in Nursing

Stories help nurse leaders communicate in ways that facts alone often cannot. They create connection, bring values to life and help teams understand the meaning behind the work.
This microlearning introduces purposeful storytelling as a tool for communication, reflection and influence. You’ll explore how values-driven stories can reinforce key messages, illuminate leadership lessons and deepen engagement across teams and patient care experiences.
By building these skills, you’ll be able to identify meaningful stories from your own leadership experience and use them intentionally to strengthen communication, connection and impact.

NCPD Credit:

Upon completion of the microlearning and evaluation, learners are eligible to earn 0.2 Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) credits. AONL is accredited as a provider of NCPD by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
