AONL-AHA Learning Community drives innovation

An article in the February issue of Nurse Leader explores how the AONL-American Hospital Association Learning Community serves as a forum for nursing leaders to innovate and improve workforce sustainability. Members use evidence-based dialogue to advance digital health integration and care model redesign to foster environments enabling nurses to thrive and lead change. The Learning Community began in response to challenges nurse leaders faced in implementing virtual nursing. They sought a structured space to discuss emerging practices, address barriers and co-create solutions to adapt quickly into practice. The forum uses professional governance, peer-to-peer exchange and innovation to examine and disseminate care models and interventions to support nurse retention, reduce stress and foster joy in practice.
