AONL Announces 2027 Board Election Results

AONL members elected four individuals to its board of directors to serve three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2027. Those elected are Puneet Freibott, DNP, RN, system chief nurse, Beth Israel Lahey Health in Cambridge, Mass., for Region 1; Chantal Howard, DNP, RN, chief nursing and patient care services officer, Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C., for Region 3; and Brenda Oehler, MSN, RN, director of emergency services and nursing operations, UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for Region 6. Trish Baise, DNP, RN, chief nursing executive, ECU Health in Greenville, N.C., will serve in the at-large position. (AONL news release, 8/25/26)
