The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) sent a letter urging Congressional leadership to include a list of shared nursing priorities in future COVID-19 legislation. The letter asks Congress to consider the need to protect nurses serving on the frontlines, increase funding for Title VIII nursing workforce development programs, support nursing education infrastructure, strengthen investments in public health, invest in nursing research and promote access to telehealth. AONL is one of 63 national nursing organizations that make up the NCC. (NCC news, 8/18/20)
