NCC urges Congress to pass funding bill

AONL and 63 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition urged Congressional leaders to pass the House and Senate Appropriations Committees-passed bill to fund the government before the Jan. 30th deadline. The bill includes stable, full-year appropriations of $305.472 million for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs and $197.693 million for the National Institute of Nursing Research. The bill’s status is in flux as Senate Democrat leaders are negotiating with President Trump to cull Department of Homeland Security funding from the broader funding package. (NCC letter, 1/22/26)
