Webinar to highlight hospital safety strategies

Health care executives will discuss trauma-informed strategies to reduce violence, support staff and foster healing during an American Hospital Association webinar Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. ET. They will discuss how to implement trauma-informed care models that acknowledge the effect of trauma on patients, staff and systems. Attendees will learn how to engage team members in trauma-informed practices that improve readiness, morale and compassion. In addition, attendees will learn how to design multidisciplinary training to anticipate and manage violence incidents more effectively across departments. Participants should register in advance.
