AONL selects appointed board members

AONL selected Dahlia Maldonado, MSN, RN, and Martha Grubaugh, PhD, RN, for appointed board positions starting Jan. 1, 2026. A nursing practice outcomes and Magnet program coordinator at UCLA Health in Santa Monica, Calif., Maldonado participates in the AONL Nursing Leaders in Advocacy program and is a member of the AONL 2026 Emerging Professional Voices. Grubaugh is a research nurse scientist at UCHealth in Colorado and an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado College of Nursing in Aurora. She also has worked as an associate CNO. Grubaugh, who is a fellow of AONL, has served on AONL committees and has published in Nurse Leader. AONL thanks everyone who applied; the organization received a record number of applications.
