AONL to host LPN/LVN integration webinar

AONL will host a webinar on Sept. 16 from 2:00-3:00 CT examining how nurse leaders are approaching licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse integration as part of broader care model redesign. AONL CEO Claire Zangerle, DNP, RN, will use the Chartis Center for Burnout Solutions/AONL Quick Hit survey results to discuss national patterns in LPN/LVN utilization and key barriers to implementation. She also will describe members’ priorities for AONL support, including best-practice guidance and thought leadership. Nurse executive panelists will share their experiences incorporating LPNs/LVNs into acute care models effectively, including defining roles, supporting delegation, addressing scope of practice, building career pathways and engaging stakeholders. Participants will learn about opportunities and operational considerations involved in expanding LPN/LVN care delivery roles. Attendees should register in advance.
