DAISY Foundation grants open

The DAISY Foundation opened applications last week for several grant opportunities. It will award two health equity grants to nurses: one to improve the care of disadvantaged populations and mitigate social determinants of health, and another to improve care and promote healthy aging of older adults. The foundation also offers J. Patrick Barnes grants, which provide nurses with funding for projects to evaluate changes in nursing practice in treating patients with cancer and autoimmune diseases, as well as studies benefitting patients and/or families who receive cancer and autoimmune disease treatment.
