NPs rank second in U.S. News ‘Best Jobs’ list

Nurse practitioners (NPs) have the second most desirable job according to the latest U.S. News & World Report “100 Best Jobs” ranking. Jobs were rated on whether they pay well, aren’t too stressful, and provide challenge, room for advancement and a satisfying work-life balance. According to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the demand for NPs will continue to grow, especially in primary care and the treatment of opioid use disorder.
