Updated lawsuit calls for disbanding Kennedy’s vaccine panel
Medical groups, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, updated their lawsuit against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., calling for his revamped Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice to disband and for its decisions to be revoked. They want ACIP to be reconstituted under court supervision, according to an updated lawsuit. The suit says the new ACIP appointees do not have the credentials or requisite experience to serve on the committee, and subsequently, their votes should be declared null and void. The medical groups initially sued Kennedy and HHS last July for changing COVID vaccine recommendations without evidence. (MedPage Today article, 11/6/25)
