AONL supports Nightingale Challenge for leadership development

To celebrate the Year of the Nurse and Midwife and the 200th birthday of Florence Nightingale, AONL will take part in the Nightingale Challenge, a global initiative to equip and empower the next generation of nurses. “From advanced learning and mentoring to shadowing and cross-discipline exposure, the Nightingale Challenge aims to improve global health by expanding nursing growth opportunities beyond clinical training,” wrote Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, AONL CEO and American Hospital Association (AHA) senior vice president and chief nursing officer. Employers can learn more about the challenge and register to participate on the Nursing Now website. (AHA blog, 2/11/20)
