Health Equity Forums address how nursing can support communities

A series of webinars exploring nursing’s role in advancing health equity are now available on the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action website. The Campaign held the three forums in early 2021 to engage and involve a diverse range of stakeholders in supporting a more diverse nursing workforce as a means to advance health equity. Speakers included AONL CEO and American Hospital Association Senior Vice President of Workforce and Chief Nursing Officer Robyn Begley, DNP, RN; U.S. Representatives David Joyce, R-Ohio, and Lauren Underwood, D-Ill.; former AONL Board President Linda Burnes Bolton, DrPh, RN, senior vice president and chief health equity officer at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles; the heads of several minority nursing organizations; and academic and business leaders.
