IFDHE recognizes Black History Month

Black health and wellness is the theme of this year’s Black History Month, which is being recognized by the Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE) at the American Hospital Association (AHA). A recent post on the AHA website highlighted some of the organization’s efforts to achieve health equity. These included partnerships to disseminate accurate information about COVID-19 in communities most impacted by the disease, and investments in Black-founded and led startups focused on health innovation. The AHA will roll out an Equity Roadmap this year and host a health equity conference in Cleveland in May. (AHA News article, 2/15/22)
