Medicaid launches collaborative to increase well-child visits for infants

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services this week launched the Infant Well-Child Visit Learning Collaborative, a webinar series and affinity group to help state Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Programs increase well-child visits for infants from birth to 12 months old. Health care providers and other stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the webinar series, which begins in August. States participating in the affinity group to design and implement an infant well-child visit quality improvement project also are encouraged to include providers and other stakeholders on their quality improvement team. Registration for the webinars is available online. (AHA New article, 7/29/21)
